Meet the Family Behind Scrub Hats by MD

Scrub Hats by MD started with one simple idea: healthcare professionals deserve scrub caps that are comfortable, functional, and made with personality. Today, what began as a small handmade business has grown into a three-generation family team, creating scrub caps worn by healthcare professionals across the United States and around the world.

Devon — Founder & Owner

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, Devon brings real operating-room experience to Scrub Hats by MD. She understands the importance of comfort, fit, and function during long shifts and uses that experience to guide the styles and products offered.

Maria — Mom & Maker

Maria is Devon’s mom and one of the hands behind the hats. She helps sew and create the scrub caps customers receive every day, bringing care and craftsmanship to each one she makes.

Helena — Niece & Maker

Helena is Devon’s niece and another important part of the Scrub Hats by MD team. She helps handcraft our scrub caps and works alongside Devon and Maria to keep orders moving from the sewing room to our customers.

We may be a small family business, but our scrub caps have traveled far beyond our sewing room. Seeing healthcare professionals wear something we created—whether they're across the country or across the world—is something we never take for granted.
